Pale Horse Book Cover Artwork Detail

The majority of the Pale Horse book cover artwork typography was created using flat lettering lifted from old celestial maps and therefore was fairly time consuming to set. The ragged black lines used to design the three heraldic shields were scanned from heraldry books and painstakingly forged into the various shapes.
